BILL TURPIN
Prosthetic Make-up Artist
My Life in Latex
The term larger than life is often mentioned in relation to gregarious creative mavericks but Bill Turpin is literally the largest character that 125 has ever worked with, a giant of a man and a giant in the prosthetic make-up industry with 20 years of experience creating stunning prosthetics for film, TV, commercials and stills. Having originally studied art and design he went on to train in Theatre, TV and film make-up and over the years has been involved with big budget productions such as Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, Gladiator, Clash of the Titans, Warhorse and wait for it...Revenge of the Swedish Bikini Team!

He has also worked with over 40 photographers such as Nadav Kander, Rankin, Dimitri Daniloff, Rick Guest, Tim Bret-Day and for 125 Magazine with Finlay MacKay and Max Oppenheim. He'll be sharing his work and processes with us and revealing the intricate partnership built up with the photographers he has worked with over the years.
