CREATIVE TALKS - 13/10/15
Our free 'Creative Talks' series kicks off on the 13th October with 3 fascinating creatives discussing their work, processes and ideas in a relaxed and informal setting within the 125LIVE gallery.
TASCHEN
How to Publish Your Book
We are very pleased to kick off our Creative Talks series with an insight into the process behind converting a ‘great idea’ into a great book, something which most artists aspire to, but few pull off and there can be few people better placed to explain the process than than Taschen's Julius Wiedemann. As both the Executive Editor for Design and Pop Culture, and Director for Digital Publications at the legendary Publishing House, Julius has edited over 50 books which have sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide. He knows how to make and sell art books and will share his wisdom with you.

DBOX
Computer Generated & Augmented Imagery.
DBOX create stories about places, brands & experiences through award-winning design and craft applied to print, film & emerging technologies.
With photography as a building block they use CG software to create unbuilt environments as both the focal point and background to images which exist only in the imaginations of the architects and artists who work with them around the world. At 125LIVE they will discuss some of the processes involved in computer generated image creation and the emerging technologies that will eventually enable their audiences to inhabit their world in parallel with them.
