125 was a critically acclaimed photography magazine published between 2003 and 2013 featuring the work of over 250 photographers and their teams. Initially launched by a group of 4 friends as a London-centric experiment in self publishing, it quickly grew from an industry secret into the leading showcase of contemporary photography of its era. Spawning many imitators and thousands of devoted fans around the world.

After 10 years in print, distribution in 23 countries, 21 issues, 2 books, 7230 pages and countless exhibitions in London, New York & Paris, the surviving partners (and advertisers) eventually bowed to the power of the internet and called it a day.

All back issues of 125 are now sold-out, but the reputation and visual archive lives on and may be digitised at some point, for now though, goodbye from all at 125.
